Serious Kids has appointed Emma Knight to the role of Sales Manager.
Emma will report to Leila Ouledcheikh, Director of Global Distribution with immediate effect, and work closely with Leila and have responsibility for developing content sales and other rights – with a particular emphasis on Central & Eastern Europe, Greece, MEA, and Asia. She joins Serious Kids from five years as Sales Manager, overseeing MEA. Prior to this, Emma was sales director for CEE, MEA & Airlines at Endemol Shine.
We are excited to have Emma join our team. Her ten years in senior roles with two major distributors brings a wealth of experience to Serious Kids and we can look forward to applying that knowledge to our widening slate.

Serious Kids is a London-based boutique distribution and production company headed up by Founder and CEO Genevieve Dexter and Leila Ouledcheikh, Director of Global Distribution. The company represents a select catalogue of award winning children’s and family programmes from Oscar nominated studios, such as Studio Ghibli, See-Saw and Zeilt, as well as, established independents Lion Television, Gigglebug, Eagle vs Bat, Sparre Productions, Dot to Dot, Comma Studios, The Animation Band and 141 Productions. It has twice been nominated as Best Distributor/Investor at Cartoon Forum, most recently in 2023.
