Colourist Sam Chynoweth Joins Technicolor London Team

Technicolor London has announced that Colourist Sam Chynoweth has joined their features team.

Joining the ranks of leading industry post production company Technicolor London this week is Colourist Sam Chynoweth, bringing with him a mixture of animation and live action experience to the colour team.

Sam is joining from Sydney-based studio Animal Logic, where he has worked on and off for nearly ten years, grading projects such as The Lego Movie, The Infiltrator, Peter Rabbit and The Lego Batman Movie. There, his work helped to win a Lumiere Award for the Best Use of HDR in an Animated Feature.Sam has also worked in London on projects including Wolf Hall, Testament of Youth and Walking with Dinosaurs 3D.

Sam draws on his experience as a Colourist along with his in-depth knowledge of colour pipelines and VFX as well as his expertise in delivering high-profile features for multiple formats, including 2D, 3D and HDR.

Sam joins an exciting colour team at Technicolor London which includes Jean-Clement Soret, (recent winner of a BAFTA Craft Award for his work on Black Mirror), Jodie Davidson, Brian Krijgsman, Lee Twohey, Alex Gascoigne, Kevin Horsewood and Dan Coles.

Technicolor London’s most recent feature film projects include, Paddington 2, Darkest Hour and You Were Never Really Here.
