Following a fantastic response from across Scotland, TRC has announced the successful delegates for VFX and animation training programme Reset.
The programme, now in its second year, is supported by the recently established BFI Skills Cluster, delivered by Screen Scotland.
Reset trainees will learn from industry leaders whilst placed with award-winning animation, VFX and games studios across Scotland. The first iteration of the programme, which focused on retraining those who had been affected by the pandemic and EU exit, was a great success with most trainees securing further work in their new careers on completion.
During an intensive 8-month programme, the 15 Reset trainees will work full time within their host company and will receive specialist training to enhance their existing skills and facilitate their transition to the industry. Training topics will include personal development, effective teamworking, IT, budgeting and production management for VFX and animation.
