Operating from their base in the heart of Soho, London, Aquarium Studios have offered post production services to the UK TV Drama, Feature film and Video games industries since 1997.
To complement their triple-BAFTA-winning audio team, Aquarium are pleased to offer an in-house partnership with Dirty Looks, and now offer Baselight colour grading and online editing all withing their Wardour Street premises. With studios in Belgium and Ireland, Aquarium are ideally placed to provide post services on European co-productions.
Facilities include Voice Booths with source connect, Stereo, 5.1 Mixing Theatres, Foley recording, ADR stages, an ensemble recording space for up to 7 actors, as well as a number of bright and airy cutting rooms available for hire. Aquarium has Studios to suit all budgets and all project types, from Feature Films to Corporates, TV Drama to Computer Games.
Aquarium have been responsible for Audio Post on numerous film and drama projects including; Disobedience, Merlin, Whitechapel (S3), Ripper Street (S1), Atlantis.
With Three BAFTA’s and seven nominations, Aquarium is one of Soho’s most accomplished specialist audio post-production companies, who represent a wide range of Audio Talent including Mixers, ADR Recordists, & Sound Editors. This allows them to match the perfect individual or team to your project, ensuring you get specialists at every level.

Founded in 2010 by Tom Balkwill, Dirty Looks is an independent picture post-production house headquartered in London’s West End, with a branch in central Brussels. They specialise in colour grading and mastering independent feature films and broadcast dramas. Over the last decade they have worked on many critically acclaimed projects including:
– Danny Boyle’s films for the 2012 London Olympics Opening Ceremony
– Jonathan Glazer’s UNDER THE SKIN and more recently, THE ZONE OF INTEREST
– William Oldroyd’s LADY MACBETH
– Shane Meadows’ television series, THE VIRTUES
– Sebastián Lelio’s, DISOBEDIENCE and THE WONDER
