Jan Høgevold has joined the team as Bidding Producer for their TV and Film VFX work to further enhance the success of the department.
Jan Høgevold, whose career in film and TV spans over two decades, has a broad range of experience across visual effects production, digital intermediates, colour management, quality control and film delivery, building post-production facilities, workflow pipelines, managing large teams of artists and technicians, pitching for and bidding new projects.
Formerly a VFX & Digital Intermediate Producer at Framestore and with an extensive technical background, Jan has worked on numerous features, most notably, Troy (Warner Bros.), Casino Royale (Eon Productions), Die Another Day (Eon Productions), V for Vendetta (Warner Bros.), The Voyage of the Dawn Treader for Walden Media/20th Century Fox, where he was DI Supervisor.
Managing Director, Justine White wanted to bolster Freefolk’s TV team with a carefully selected combination of experience and talent.

Most recently the Freefolk team worked on VFX for ‘Whitney’, a feature length documentary about the life of Whitney Houston, directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Kevin Macdonald. They provided restoration work on the huge amount of archive footage in the film as well as subtle visual effects.
Earlier this year Freefolk gained further recognition for their TV work with a BAFTA VFX nomination for Emerald City (Universal Television).
