The studio expands their Systems Integration team with the appointment.
Gravity Media, the leading global provider of complex live creative production and media services, have announced the appointment of Seb Knight as Systems Integration Design Engineer, further expanding the global Systems Integration team.
With over twenty years of experience, Seb joins the Systems Integration team led by Paul Sykes, Gravity Media’s Head of Systems Integration. As a team, including Andy Attwell, Systems Integration Proposals Engineer, they have recently successfully built Gravity Media’s brand new Production Centre London facility in White City in just under 16 weeks. The 50,000-square-foot facility features best-in-class technology to support both on-premise and distributed remote production workflows.
Seb is an enthusiastic and highly motivated engineer with extensive experience across a broad range of technology disciplines. He has worked across the majority of aspects of broadcasting, from in and out of the studio, distribution lines to the top of the transmitter. Seb has also worked from project design proposal, through to acceptance and handover. He holds experience in managing diverse engineering teams in various disciplines.
Most recently, Seb worked as a Freelancer Broadcast Engineer where he delivered engineering and project management services to various clients including BT Sport, ITN, CNN, Sky, Discovery Networks and GB News. Seb was responsible for maintaining a variety of equipment including Avid, EVS Operate and installing remote news installations as well as MCR infrastructure. In addition, he assisted in the design and build of Greenfield News installations for GB News and developed new OB equipment, workflow and trained a talented operational team.
The launch of Gravity Media’s Production Centre in White City has been a great project to kick start my career at Gravity Media. Building this brand new facility in just under 16 weeks marked a truly exciting time to join. I look forward to continuing working alongside the SI team to create engineering designs and facilities fitted with the latest broadcast technology, housing our client’s productions.

Gravity Media’s brand new facility is based around a fully-fledged 2110 IP media fabric with dedicated master control rooms, six dedicated production control rooms with dedicated audio control rooms, seven flexi control rooms, multiple off-tube commentary booths, two studios, lighting and vision control facilities, fast turnaround and craft edit, flexi desk production spaces, media management and client desking.
