The Cambridge-based studio picked up the award for Best Effects at the Royal Television Society (RTS) Awards 2022.
Vine FX won for their outstanding work on The Lazarus Project, which the jury said showcased “the breadth and variety of VFX craftsmanship across the series.” Other nominees in the category included MPC for Prehistoric Planet and dock10 for Dodger. Work on season two of The Lazarus Project starts this year, with Vine FX returning as the main VFX vendor.
It’s a thrill to have been nominated and an incredible feeling to win the RTS award. Our team has a really broad skill set and it just goes to show that you don’t have to be in London to work on high-end projects.
Michael Illingworth, Founder of Vine FX
The award was presented to Vine FX at a ceremony at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Monday, 5 December 2022, with journalist and television presenter Ranvir Singh hosting the proceedings.
Congratulations to all our RTS Craft and Design winners this year. The exceptional range and depth of skills represented in this year’s winners shine a light on the outstanding talent behind the camera in UK content creation across many platforms.
Ade Rawcliffe, Chair of the RTS Awards
